Your jewellery will be packaged in an exclusive A.P. Shaps box. With each piece of jewelry, you also receive a certificate that verifies that the jewelry is created by A.P. Shaps, as well as any diamond certificates from GIA.
Resizing rings is included for the lifetime of the original purchaser when you buy a piece of jewelry directly from us. Keep in mind that it is not always possible to change the size of eternity rings, as the band that holds the diamonds cannot always withstand this type of stress. If you want to change the size of an eternity ring you bought from us, we offer an exchange for an equivalent ring in your desired size.
We have three categories for manufacturing times. For goods in stock, 4-5 working days apply, for goods that need to be manufactured it is either 3-4 weeks or 4-5 weeks. If you need a piece of jewelry faster than that, contact us directly and we will see what is possible.
Store your diamond jewelry in a way where it does not scratch or touch each other. Diamonds are hard and can only be scratched by each other, however, gold and platinum jewelry can be scratched by other metals and objects. Diamond jewelry is best stored in its original box. To clean your diamond jewelry at home: Place one piece at a time in a bowl of warm water and dish soap. Then, use a soft toothbrush to remove any dirt that ended up on and under the diamond. Rinse off the jewelry and dry, preferably with a hair dryer to avoid water stains.
You can always visit our store in Stockholm to clean your diamond jewelry.
Metals are susceptible to scratches. You can use the soft polishing cloth that you received with you when you purchased from A.P. Shaps to keep the metal clean and shiny. If your jewelry has been deeply scratched, you can polish up the jewelry. Then it is required that the jewelry comes in to A.P. Shaps studio and the service takes about 1-2 days.
To avoid scratches, you should take off your jewelry from time to time. For example, when you use chemicals, exercise, carry heavy loads, shower, do gardening or other activities where your jewelry can get scratched.
Colored gemstones require extra care and maintenance. They are not as hard as diamonds and many gemstones are also sensitive to heat, light and chemicals. A.P. Shaps jewelry with colored gemstones should always be cleaned by A.P. Shaps and you are welcome to visit us free of charge for this as often as you like.
We use diamonds that are D-H in color, FL-SI1 in clarity. Our round diamonds are always triple excellent (excellent in cut, polishing and symmetry). These diamonds always have a diamond certificate issued by the GIA. For diamonds weighing less than 0.30 carats, the color is graded D-E (River) and VS in clarity.

Shaps) which states how many diamonds your jewelry has, as well as its color and clarity so that you can always feel safe and comfortable with your purchase.

But also the things that are not on the certificate; Brilliance, brilliance, how the inclusions affect the diamond, how fluorescence affects the diamond, etc.
